~ after a few weeks disease our Alabama has passed away ~

Have you ever seen the movie "True Romance" with Christian Slater
and Patricia Arquette?

In the movie Patricia is a very pretty girl named Alabama. A black female pup that Gwendy gave to us one snowing dawn was so beautiful and charming that she deserved to have the same nice name.

Watching Alabama, every Dobermann fan in the world must say she IS one of the most beautiful specimens of this noble breed one has ever seen. When she starts moving you'll just forget all her insignificant faults. She is just marvelous!

Judging the Yugoslav Dobermann Sieger Show '99, Mr. Avi Marshak said "Beautiful bitch with good proportions. Strong bones and very elegant. She moved like a dream ". Really it's true - it's rare to see such harmony and balance that Alabama has. We are aware that breeding such a dog is not only due to our knowledge - getting Alabama was "a gift from Heaven".

Alabama’s most important results:

Alabama's first show was the IDC '97 in Italy. She was only 7 months old, but a very charming pup. For Mr. Pezzano Alabama was Molto Promettente (Very Promissing) 4th amongst 30 young bitches. Not bad for her first presentation. That was the beginning!

Her next really big dog show was DV Sieger Show in Itzehoe. Alabama had developed into a beautiful young bitch and she could charm everyone. Mr. Striby couldn't resist her and Alabama became DV JugendSiegerin! It was the biggest success that any Yugoslavian Dobermann has ever achieved.

One more important show for us was the International Dobermann Meeting in Hungary. Mr. Ferenc Csaba has organized this beautiful show for the past 25 years. Every second summer a little place, Matrafured in the Hungarian hills, becomes host for many Dobermann friends from all around the world. In 1998 judges were from America, Australia and Italy. It was our great pleasure that Mr. Jens Kollenberg, without any hesitation, gave titles CAC, BOB & R.BIS to Alabama. On the same occasion Alabama's full brother Agor was the best youth Dobermann on show, also Youth BIS under judging Mrs. May Jacobson and Mr. Kollenberg.

Without doubt Alabama's greatest success was her win at the IDC Sieger Show in Belgium 1998. She was only 19 months old but the world's greatest Dobermann experts saw her qualities and awarded her the most important title in the Dobermann world: IDC Siegerin 1998.

During 1999 Alabama won the Yugoslavian Dobermann Club Championship title (under Mr. Avi Marshak, Israel). She was R.CAC in Open Class in the FCI European Dog Show (judge T. Brody, Hungary) and she won the Hungarian Dobermann Club Championship title (under judging Mr. Florindo Coppo).

She passed her IPO I and complied with all requirements for International, Yugoslavian and Hungarian Championship titles.

In November 1999 Alabama whelped her first litter - 13 puppies were born! They all grown in nice young dogs that live all around the world.

During 2000 Alabama won one more big title. On the World Dog Show in Italy she became the WORLD CHAMPION 2000, the judge was Mr. Pezzano. Her descendents made a nice success too: on the same show Della Baronessa was VV1, World Promisse and the Best Female Junior and in the same class Demian was VV2.

Alabama hasn't ZTP passed so she can't take a participation in competition for DV and Bundessieger titles. That's why we tried to won the most important title in Dobermann world one more time - the IDC title. In Luxembourg Alabama was at her best. After the first litter she was in an excellent condition. Mr. Pezzano was the judge again, but this time she was only V1, CAC in Champion class. Anyway, her kids confirmed her qualities. Dogzilla became IDC Jungstensieger 2000, Della Baronessa was VV3 and Dion VV4 in Junior class. Pictures of Alabama's D-babies are in our Gallery D.

Since there's no more important titles Alabama could win, she will be retired from competitions. She is a good mother and "house keeper" now : ) Like a real lady she will be presented only in honor class in the future. To become the Austrian Champion she needs one more CAC to won there.

On December 21, 2000 Alabama got 8 puppies in combination with Febo Fleming del Citone. Pictures of Alabama's F-babies are in our Gallery F.

Last year, December 24, Alabama gave a birth to 10 healthy puppies in combination with Ilane Darafal. Pictures of G-babies are in our Gallery G.
